Sitting right between the downtown Miami area and Miami Beach, the small city of North Bay Village (often referred to as "Little Brazil" due to the many residents of Brazilian descent who live there) consists of two individual islands known by South Florida locals as Treasure Island and North Bay Island. The islands are also bordered by Pelican Harbor Park and Treasure Island Park to the east and west, respectively.
North Bay Village mostly follows the same guidelines as that of neighboring Miami Beach in that it offers a considerable amount of condominiums and some secluded yet unusually spacious waterfront homes.
There are the two parks on the opposite ends of the city and then there’s downtown Miami to the east and Miami Beach to the west so really, not having something to do at any given time of day is out of the question when living in North Bay Village.
