Not far from North Miami Beach is the city of Aventura, named for the Spanish word meaning adventure. Besides being one of South Florida’s finest cultural epicenters, the city is arguably best known for its namesake mall (Aventura Mall) located right in the middle of the bustling city. Several parks are strewn throughout the area which keeps it popular with families.

Aventura originally began with a number of condominium developments and they remain the most prevalent property types in the city. The Turnberry Village condo for example is part of a larger collective comprised of a massive golf course overlooking the waterfront. Because of its popularity with families however, Aventura gated communities are also quite abundant.

Again, Aventura’s most popular attraction is its mall. The proximity to Hallandale, Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood is also worth noting since they’re less than half an hour away by taking one of the major arterial city highways.
