REGENT BAL HARBOUR HOTEL SOLD

Regent Hotel in Bal Harbour is no more...Regent was the operator of the Bal Harbour condo hotel that opened to great fanfare in 2008, was sold by  WCI Communities, a Bonita Springs developer of luxury homes and condos that filed for bankruptcy in late 2008.

A private group, ElCom Hotel & Spa, bought the common areas of the hotel and 51 unsold condo hotel units for $12 million - translating to $63 per sq.ft. - a 94% discount off the original prices for the 124 unit Tower. The new owners have renamed the property ONE BAL HARBOUR HOTEL.

The "Hotel" is adjacent to the One Bal Harbour condo in the village of Bal Harbour.  As such, people who choose the "Hotel" will be in for the best living experience in Bal Harbour and may even be able to boast about having a big name celebrity as one of their neighbors.
